USA PATRIOT Act Notice

Important Information to Know About the Patriot Act and Opening/Changing an Account

Section 326 of the USA Patriot Act requires all financial institutions to obtain, verify and record information that identifies each person who opens an account or makes changes to an existing account. This federal requirement applies to all new customers and current customers at Keystone Savings Bank and other financial institutions. The gathered information is used to assist the federal government in preventing money laundering activities and fighting the funding of terrorism.

When you open or change an account at Keystone Savings Bank, you will be asked for your name, physical address, mailing address, date of birth and other information that allows us to identify you. Keystone Savings Bank will ask to see your driver’s license and other documents that can identify you. We will make copies or record the information from these items.
